As-Salaam Alaykum - السلام علیکم
Programs to be held at 81 Hollinger Crescent (IHS Centre) for this week are as follows:
Due to the winter weather, programs could be cancelled due to the weather conditions.  Please check your emails before majalis in the case of bad weather.
1) On Thursday, February 16th (20th night of Jamadiul Awwal) we will be continuing the days of Ayyaame Fatemiyyah - Mourning the Martyrdom of Ã‚ Lady Fatima Zahra, peace be upon her and holding the Shabe Jumu'ah program.  Program will begin at 7:30pm with the recitation of Surah Yaseen, Dua Kumayl, Marthiya, Majlis by Shaykh Saleem Bhimji, Topic will be on: "The Rights and Freedoms of Men and Women in Islam in the light of Lady Fatema Zahra, peace be upon her", Matam and ending with the Ziyarat-e-Waritha.  Refreshments to follow.
The special kids classes on "Quranic Appreciation" will continue this week for children aged 7 to 15 years old. Please see attached flyer for more information, and dress code for kids.  Also those attending these classes are requested to bring a copy of the Quran with English translation with them and also the kids should to be in the library by 7:45pm.

2) On Friday, February 17th (20th day of Jamadiul Awwal) there will be Salatul Jumu'ah to begin at 12:36pm led by Maulana Syed Alami.
3) How to Write an Islamic Last Will & Testament SeminarInsha-Allah, to be held on: Sunday February 26, 2017Program to Start @ 4:00 pm SHARP followed by Q&A, Salat al-Maghribayn and dinner - hosted by the ISJ of WW at 81 Hollinger Crescent, KitchenerPresented by Shaykh Saleem BhimjiThis will be an interactive and indepth seminar on the logistics and requirements of writing a Last Will and Testament based on the teachings of Islam with legal opinions based on Canadian LawSome points to be covered:1. Introduction to Islam

Dennis Wholley meets Imam Hassan Qazwini, leader of the Islamic Centre in Dearborn, Michigan, to discuss the fundamental beliefs of Islam, and remove any misconceptions the general public may have. Many  Non-muslims have the idea that the Islamic clerics and leaders are hostile and unapproachable, however Dennis Wholley shows that the Islamic leaders (Imams) are normal people like you and I, striving for a better future for upcoming generations.

The Islamic Humanitarian Service drop-in centre is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer a fully-stocked Islamic book store, Library and area for offering daily prayers - including the only centre in the KW Region which offers Salaatul Jumu'ah [Friday prayer service].
